Celebrating Gas South District Center Topping Out!

Smallwood and Holder Construction were happy to celebrate the topping out of the first phase of the Gas South District Center project last month! This exciting collaboration with Gwinnett County will see the expansion of the highly successful Gas South District (previously known as Infinite Energy Center). Plans include a re-imagining of the Forum – the convention and exhibition center, and renovation of the Ballroom, Administration Offices, and Theater.

The project, when completed in 2022, will double the existing convention center space from 50,000 SF to 100,000 SF allowing for larger exhibitions and sports-related events, taking one of the most anticipated projects in Gwinnett County to the next level!
