The Thompson Savannah Tops Out

Smallwood and Balfour Beatty US are happy to celebrate the topping out of The Thompson Savannah, a 12-story, 193-key boutique hotel developed by Regent Partners and designed by Smallwood!

This exciting project is part of the 54-acre Eastern Wharf mixed-use development adjacent to Historic Downtown Savannah along the Savannah River, and will be the tallest recent development in the City of Savannah when it opens in June 2021. It will feature more than 8,000 SF of versatile meeting space, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and more than 8,000 SF of outdoor space including an expansive terrace pool. The hotel will also feature a signature, locally chef-driven restaurant and a rooftop bar and terrace with unmatched views of the Savannah River and Historic Downtown.
