Jeff has over 40 years of professional experience in the design of K-12 Educational projects serving as Project Manager and Contract Administrator. He is involved with a project through the entire process from the initial marketing/client contact to the end of construction and project closeout. This contact allows Jeff to establish long-term relationships with clients and the contractors.

Jeff has the ability to lead a variety of K-12 projects that range from $30,000 to $70,000,000. This includes playgrounds, renovations, stadiums, additions and new buildings. He works effectively with local jurisdictions, permitting agencies and the Georgia Department of Education. He has extensive experience with the design of Performing Arts centers including world acclaimed venues and distinguished secondary education theaters. His ability to understand the importance of providing aesthetically pleasing designs while maintaining limited budgets and tight schedules has contributed to the success of the facilities.

Smallwood has always been very responsive, diligent and innovative in their approach to a functional and attractive design. This has proven to be especially evident in our most recent challenging and complex new high school project with them. ”
