The InterContinental Suzhou is located on the waterfront promenade of Suzhou’s Jinji Lake. The site area for this luxury hotel is 2.1-hectare and the construction area is 53,665 SM. The 27-story guestroom tower provides 435 keys, many with unobstructed views of the water. Dining options include two uniquely branded specialty restaurants and an all-day dining restaurant with outdoor seating. The four-story function wing features a 1,000 SM grand ballroom and nine meeting rooms. Other guest amenities include a full-service spa, an infinity pool overlooking Jinji Lake, a fully equipped fitness center and executive lounge with unique four multipurpose private function room.
The hotel is a gentle curve with the convex side facing the lake. It is a modern, classical, elegant design with the balance of stone and glass claddings and accentuated by vertical fins. From the arrival lobby to the guestroom, from the ballroom to the restaurants, the guest experience incorporates the site’s greatest natural asset, a landscaped, pedestrian-friendly waterfront.
