Great Exuma Island, Commonwealth of the Bahamas
Formerly the Four Seasons, this 474-acre resort complex is situated on the beachfront of the clear green waters of Emerald Bay on Great Exhuma Island. The project is blended into the natural environment with lodging including seven Manor and Bay Houses, thirteen separate Beach Cottages, a 200-key, five-star, 190,000 SF hotel and amenities overlooking the beach, ponds and lush landscaping. The architectural styling of the hotel and casino reflects a British Colonial theme creating the historical ambience of island plantation life.
The natural beauty of the Bahamas with unobtrusive low-rise buildings and natural settings were captured and reinforced throughout the property wherever possible. A sense of place is maintained by the judicious preservation of key organizing elements such as the beach, the golf course, the main pool, the roadway (Queen’s Highway), the marina village and the undisturbed natural environment. The master plan provides for future residential and commercial development.
Amenities include a 16,000 SF spa, a 10,000 SF casino, two swimming pools, pool grille, two restaurants, conference center, a Greg Norman Signature 18-hole championship golf course and golf clubhouse.
