The Park at Tower Place

An Urban Oasis 

This award winning urban park provides a rare green oasis for the surrounding office tenants, hotel guests and residents of the Tower Place mixed use development in Buckhead, Atlanta. This public green space, still a rarity in the Buckhead district, is uniquely situated at the confluence of the MARTA train station and one of Atlanta’s largest business districts.

Several water elements are key aesthetic features of the design. The large open lawn allows amphitheater style seating around a central water feature which doubles as a stage for outdoor events. Local stone, mature trees and native plants were used to reinforce the edges and entrances to the park. Ample shade, sculpture, lighting, and seating were provided for an area that was lacking a place of respite.
