A Principal of the firm, Corey has 16 years of architectural experience in a variety of project types including multifamily, office, and mixed-use projects with office, retail and hotel components. His knowledge of building design, systems design, design technologies, and construction methodologies, coupled with his artistic talents, puts Corey in the unique position to support many of Smallwood’s project and company management related responsibilities.

In his role as a Project Manager, Corey is responsible for planning and overseeing project teams and schedules, while balancing design, budget, and Client’s needs and expectations. This includes regular collaboration with consultants, contractors, and owners to identify and resolve intricate design challenges. Corey also actively collaborates with project teams to develop efficient design, documentation, and presentation strategies, utilizing advanced industry technologies.  Furthermore, he also works closely with our Contract Administration department, streamlining processes that bridge the gap between design and construction.
