Fairmont La Marina Rabat Salé

Designed by our Singapore studio, the Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé is a contemporary classic with a deeply Moroccan soul. Inspired by the white-washed walls and the blue and yellow hues in tiling and metalwork seen in northern coastal Morocco, the design combines predominantly white walls and blue zelij tiles to create a contemporary interior that stays true to Moroccan tradition. Pattern dominates the space in place of color and the blue skies through the conservatory roof of the bar lounge reminisce back to the blue roofs of the villages surrounding Salé.

The design language is continued in the guest rooms with black and white carpets and arched openings. Smallwood also designed the crisp white interiors of all the branded residences that are a part of the project.
