Great Urban Parks include places for activity. They need to be flexible enough to adapt to their ever-changing programming and the needs of the people. We apply Best Practices to our urban park design, and we use a multi-disciplinary approach. By including an Architectural framework with an Interior Design perspective on space planning and an Experiential Graphic Design approach to wayfinding and branding, we are able to create great urban parks that are built for people.
Function and service must precede art, so we concentrate on the orchestration of use and movement through space. By taking advantage of natural scenery and the "genius of place", we can provide a sanitary influence on the overall experience. Sustainable design and environmental conservation play a role in all our projects, so that we can leave the land in a better state or return it to its original ecological footprint.
Parks are where communites come together seeking respite from the daily stresses of modern life, and we seek to provide the spaces that will allow for this regeneration of life.
