Jim Chamberlain and Alayna Jacoway recently visited Marietta High School to speak with students participating in the ACE Mentor Program.
Alayna, currently a Co-op at Smallwood and a second year architecture student at the University of Cincinnati, provided insight into what students can expect in Architecture school, while Jim, an associate at Smallwood with over 40 years of experience, discussed what a career in Architecture looks like. The group also discussed current student projects and our team helped them work through design related issues in an engaging and fun conversation.
ACE Mentor is a free after-school program dedicated to introducing Atlanta's high school students to career options in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and the building trades.
