Re-Imagining the Public Space at Avana

Passco Companies wanted a budget-conscious but bold approach to refreshing the public space amenities at Avana Lenox Apartments so they engaged Smallwood’s Landscape Architecture and Experiential Graphics Design Groups.  A parking deck rooftop was reimagined into an outdoor oasis, branded as “The Roof”,  featuring a resident lounge, dog park, and tennis court. The pool, firepit, and outdoor bar was refinished and replanted to a clean modern aesthetic proving that a multidisciplinary design approach achieves a better and more transformative design outcome. Project completed in collaboration with Kandrac & Kole Interior Design.
