Ribbon Cutting for J.H. House Elementary School!

Last week our team was honored to attend the Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the Smallwood designed J.H. House Elementary School in Rockdale County, Georgia, replacing the original building constructed in 1967.

The event included remarks by the Rockdale County Public Schools Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Terry Oatts and the Principal of J.H. House Elementary School, Kim Melly. The ceremony was also attended by family members of J.H. House, Superintendent of Rockdale County Schools from 1955-1967, and who the school was named after.

To officially inaugurate the school, J.H. House Elementary School students and staff, along with Smallwood Associate Jeff Miller and Brandon Harmon of Carrol Daniel Construction, were invited on stage to share in the cutting of the ribbon.

Thank you to Rockdale County Public Schools for allowing us to be a part of this wonderful project!
