Gil Garrison, AIA

Retired
Principal

Gil’s decades of experience in the design of award-winning projects world-wide helped propel our firm onto the global stage. His longstanding relationships are a hallmark of the firm’s reputation as a collaborative partner.

Bringing his talent to the next generation of designers in our firm secures the continuation of design excellence our clients expect.

As an active leader in the profession, he helped establish Smallwood's Graduate Fellowship and Dean's Scholarship at the Georgia Tech College of Design. The first of its kind, the Dean's Scholarship was awarded to an undergraduate student, and the Graduate Fellowship to a student seeking a graduate degree, both in support of the study of architecture at Georgia Tech. He remains active and close to the firm in his retirement. Thank you, Gil!

Gil’s team is the very best at integrating excellent design with the practical challenges of production, budget, and schedule - a truly crucial quality in an Architect.”
