The Creation of a Fashion Headquarters

This headquarters of Phillips-Van Heusen is located at 200 Madison Avenue in Manhattan. The 100,000 SF project, located on seven floors of contiguous space, includes showrooms and design studios for the fashion company’s brands IZOD, Van Heusen, Bass and licensed components DKNY and Geoffrey Beene.  

The design program put forth by the client involved a desire not only to establish a strong brand identity on each floor but also to refocus, update and refresh easily recognized American brands through the design of the facility. 

The spaces include an array of showrooms, sample rooms, design studios and five conference rooms for marketing and display. The rooms range in size from approximately 200 SF to 600 SF. The design of each these spaces was individually addressed to reflect the general style directions of each product line.
