Smallwood dreamed big designing the Harrrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort Expansion

Smallwood dreamed big designing the Harrrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort Expansion which included the 725 guestroom Harrah’s DreamCatcher Cherokeee Resort Hotel and an adjoining 100,000 SF Conference Center. All disciplines within Smallwood worked together to create an American Craftsman/Prairie School style inspired hotel complex that embodies and reflects cultural influences drawn from the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation. The expansion façade’s wood and earth tones allow the development to be harmonious with the neighboring landscape and existing Resort property while featuring natural stone constructed by local masons.
