Bonnet Creek Resort

Orlando, Florida

Making a Grand Entrance

The Bonnet Creek Resort is located at the gates to Orlando’s Walt Disney World resort and is surrounded by a Rees Jones designed golf course and a wilderness preservation area. Visitors and guests enter the development via Buena Vista Drive, the main thoroughfare connecting to the Disney World attractions.

The resort contains a 1,000 key Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, a 500 key Waldorf Astoria Orlando, and over 110,000 SF of ballroom and meeting spaces in a common central conference facility. Guests and visitors to the resort have access to a full-service spa and over 12 food and beverage outlets. The project has the distinction of being the first new-build property in the created Waldorf Astoria brand. The resort is integrated into a lush landscaped setting with views to the popular nightly firework display at Disney World.

The conference facility is situated to provide views of the lake and golf course from the pre-function areas, outdoor terraces and selected meeting rooms, making golf one of the most visible amenities at Bonnet Creek.

"During the Bonnet Creek Resort Project in Orlando, Florida, I had the privilege of working with Smallwood team members throughout the entire project, for the most part on a day-to-day basis."
