Curating the Choate Brand message in the newly renovated Atlanta office culminated into graphics representations of what Choate means to the new owners of the stalwart construction company, the employees. As Choate embarks on the journey of employee ownership, a new work environment was needed to reflect the brand with the affirmation of who they are. Working closely with the Choate team, Smallwood developed graphic schemes that spoke to the firm's heritage and their future. The ideas surrounding core values and employee ownership abound as team members and guests move throughout the environment setting the new standard of Choate and what it means to be a premier general contractor.
Several custom graphic installations provide experiences that reinforce the brand. The Core Values which include the words innovation, integrity, operational excellence, relationships, safety and stewardship, and inspiration were incorporated into the artwork. A timeline that represents the growth of the 30-year-old firm is highlighted in the space. Photographs of employees and projects highlight the personal side of the firm as well as the professional aspect.
