Altira Office Tower

Jakarta, Indonesia

Striking Geometry Distinguishes New Tower

Located near the Sunter and Kelapa Gading business centers of North Jakarta, the 32-story Altira Office Building provides 61,391 SM of Strata Title office space. In addition to conventional office floors, the tower includes five five-story office condominiums, each with a private lift and ground floor entrance. The typical office floors are accessed from a grand, two-story lobby that faces Jalan Yos Sudarso and the elevated Wiyoto Wiyono toll road.

At the main entrance, a cantilevered glass canopy covers the main auto drop-off, while a smaller glass canopy on the north façade creates a continuous, covered walkway for the condominium entrances. Parking is located in a one-level basement. The building’s distinctive, angular footprint is in response to the irregular shape of the 2.8-hectare site. Reflecting the unusual geometry of the floor plan, the tower massing is composed of a series of overlapping, angular planes of glass.
