The central feature of the West Bay Complex is the eighteen-story, 232-key, 36,565 SM Four Seasons Resort Hotel and Club. The luxury hotel facility includes a high percentage of suites, an ornate grand lobby, full-service club spa and enclosed tennis center, three gourmet restaurants, library bar and tea room, pool bar and grill at the grotto pool and retail shopping within the hotel, grand and junior ballrooms, meeting and breakout facilities, full-service business center, dignitary entrance and a large porte-cochere at the entrance.
The hotel overlooks a beach affording magnificent views of the Arabian Gulf and the skyline of downtown Doha. A beachfront headland features a waterfront walkway and pier that terminates at a sculptural pylon. Adjacent to the beach is an elaborate freshwater grotto pool and bar. The club spa opens up to the outdoor pool and contains an indoor pool, exercise areas, salon, juice bar, squash courts, locker spaces and treatment rooms, as well as a seafood restaurant overlooking the marina.
All facilities within the complex are linked by pedestrian walkways that wind through richly landscaped lawns, flowering vegetation and water features. Design components of the buildings reflect the architectural heritage of Islamic culture and the country of Qatar. Interior Design Services provided by Frank Nicholson Incorporated.
