Rhea is a Principal with Smallwood and leader in our K-12 educational department. With over 20 years experience, Rhea brings innovative solutions and a passion for designing transformative learning environments that inspire students, empower educators, and strengthen communities. She also plays a key role in shaping the firm’s educational portfolio.  Her proactive approach, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget have earned her the trust and respect of her clients.

In her role as a Project Manager, Rhea is responsible for planning and overseeing project teams and schedules, while balancing design, budget, and Client’s needs and expectations. This includes regular collaboration with consultants, contractors, and owners to identify and resolve intricate design challenges. Rhea also actively collaborates with project teams to develop efficient design, documentation, and presentation strategies, utilizing advanced industry technologies.

They listen closely to the needs and desires of Rockdale County Schools throughout the design process, providing an attractive, quality, and functional product.”
