Nanchang Redco International City

Nanchang, China

Stylistic Mediterranean Inspiration

Nanchang Redco International City occupies a site of approximately 46-hectare. The total gross construction area is 850,000 SM with a Plot ratio of 1.85. The project, located in Nanchang Xiang Hu New Town, is bordered by Jinsha 2nd Road on the east, Chengyi Road to the west, Xianghu Road to the south and Huhegudao River on the north.

The key components of this project are low and high-rise residential apartments. The commercial contents of the project include retail, service apartment, and club house. As a residential neighborhood, it also features public facilities such as primary school, child care center, indoor fresh market, cultural station, and community services center.

The design takes advantage of water from the Huhegudao River to the north to create an east-west oriented water feature for the development. The focal point of the development is a public plaza surrounded by retail and water features. The high-rise buildings face the river surrounded by low and medium rise towers. All of the first floor properties along main roads are activated by street front retail.

Designed to be an international lifestyle quality benchmark for Nanchang, this integrated eco-project is inspired by the California Spanish Mission Style both in its architecture and planning method. Each neighborhood parcel will enjoy its own garden and public space that distinguishes itself from the rest of the development.
