The Roost

College Park, Georgia

Welcome to the Roost at the Chick-fil-A Support Center – a cutting-edge office space dedicated to housing the In-House Agency responsible for the comprehensive advertising of the Chick-fil-A Brand. This dynamic and adaptable workspace boasts a range of amenities, including a state-of-the-art sound stage, a well-appointed conference room, hotelling workstations, a company store, customer experience mock-up areas, and a top-notch sound and video edit suite.

Immersing visitors in the rich history and evolution of Chick-fil-A's advertising and branding, the experiential graphics throughout the space beautifully blend concepts from the past and present. Notably, you'll find nostalgic recreations such as the iconic "Rubber Chicken" three-dimensional billboard, which pays homage to the brand's early days. Additionally, a captivating wall-sized graphic captures a scene from the celebrated "SwitchWorks" movie shorts, a beloved tradition during the holiday season.

With a keen eye for detail, the design thoughtfully integrates multiple structural materials and finishes, imbuing the Roost with color, character, and a sense of history. Each element bears significance, culminating in a vibrant and inspiring work environment that fuels creativity and fosters collaboration among team members.

Our project involved a lot of hands, and the team did a great job of balancing feedback and providing solutions. The entire experience was collaborative. The workflow and process did not come across as a client, agency relationship but a true partnership. The Smallwood team was not just knowledgeable, they were fun to work with. I learned so much from them. I really appreciate their willingness to share their time and talent in such an open, supportive way.
